SIP Resources for Contractors
This page provides tools and resources to support SFPUC contractors (firms) in successfully meeting their Social Impact Partnership (SIP) reporting requirements.
Firms are expected to complete bi-annual reporting.
The fiscal year is divided into two reporting periods.
Q1/Q2: July 1-December 31; Q3/Q4: January 1-June 30.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission authorized the Social Impact Partnership program on October 24, 2022, Resolution #22-0183. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission then adopted the Social Impact Rules and Regulations on April 11, 2023, Resolution #23-0075, effective date April 22, 2023. On September 19, 2023, SFPUC General Manager issued a memo approving additional SIP Program Implementation Procedures.
