With 600,000 hours worked on the site last year, the Biosolids Digester Facilities Project has earned the Occupational Excellence Achievement Award from the National Safety Council. “This is a really big deal for us,” said Biosolids Project Safety Manager Jorge Torres. “Our safety performance really has been outstanding. We’re thrilled to be recognized for it.”
Project Pull is an internship led by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and others within the public sector. They are proud to offer highly passionate students the opportunity to gain experience from their desired career field by getting to know and working with others in that field. This program has helped interns get out of their comfort zone and start to network and get to know new people so that they are able to thrive in their future job.
