Alex Pitcher Pavilion

The Alex Pitcher Pavilion is the primary event space for the Southeast Community Center. This standalone space features tall windows, a mural that includes local landmarks and community members, a beautiful wooden floor, and walls.

The space features an amphitheater providing additional outdoor space and seating with settings perfect for a band or for your guest to enjoy. The amphitheater consists of planted raised berms surrounded by wooden seating and a concrete stair structure to host outdoor events on the east side of the community center. The amphitheater seats approximately 100 people.

The event space has a built-in audiovisual (AV) system to project audio inside and outside of the Alex Pitcher Pavilion. The AV system includes a laser projector, screen, and two wireless mics. The AV system can connect to devices via an HDMI cord, and is accessible for an additional charge. The room has access to the city's public wireless connection under #SFWiFi as seen throughout the center.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric range, (2) commercial dishwashers, a fridge freezer combo, three (3) sinks and two (2) food warmers. The kitchen area is large enough to allow a sizable group to cook and prepare food there. The kitchen offers the service of catered food, set-up, and warming food.

The space also 3 restrooms including a gender-neutral restrooms with a baby changing station. Users of the space will have access to rectangle tables (4’ x 2’) and round tables (5’ diameter).
