Bay Division Pipeline No. 3 & 4 Slip Lining Project
Overview
The Union Pacific Railroad Company (UPRR) will be constructing new tracks across the Bay Division Pipelines No. 3 and 4 (BDPL3&4) in the SFPUC Right of Way (ROW) at Lafayette Street near Fairway Glen Drive in the City of Santa Clara. BDPL3&4 will be protected from additional rail loads by slip lining (inserting a smaller diameter pipeline inside the existing pipeline and grouting the annular space) approximately 600 ft each of BDPL3 and BDPL4.
