Small Firm Advisory Committee
SFPUC operations create business opportunities for both local and regional construction companies operating in our water service area.
The Small Firm Advisory Committee is currently being reestablished. For questions about the Small Firm Advisory Committee, please contact, PUC-LBE@sfwater.org.
The Small Firm Advisory Committee is a five-member body, appointed by our General Manager, whose goal is to assist the agency with providing meaningful business opportunities to small/micro construction firms in the SFPUC regional water service area (from the Bay Area Peninsula to Yosemite).
The General Manager’s Small Firm Advisory Committee will be comprised of appointees which represent our service territory. This small group of appointed representatives will serve as a conduit for certification and contracting opportunities between regional construction businesses and the SFPUC.

Meeting schedule
The Small Firm Advisory Committee holds quarterly public meetings with construction focused community-based organizations, and suburban waters customers in our various jurisdictions to provide opportunities to discuss additional actions of the committee for affected areas.
