CONSTRUCTION ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND LOOK-AHEAD
The 24" Earthquake Resistant Ductile Iron Pipe (ERDIP) on Coso Avenue from Precita Avenue to Mirabel Avenue has been installed. Likewise, the excavation and installation of 6" blowoffs (BO) and actuator valves (AV) at Shotwell Street/Precita Avenue have been installed.
WATER WORK CONNECTION ACTIVITIES

Through October 17 - Install thrust blocks for 24" ERDIP pipelines; Install cathodic anodes and test station to control corrosion

October 20-22 -- Pressure test the ERDIP line.

October 23-30 -- Prepare pipeline connection pits for residential and business connections.

- October 13-24 -- Saw Cut for Street Base Restoration Work
- October 16- November 7 -- Build Curb Ramps at Precita Avenue and Coso Avenue Intersection
- October 27-November 27 -- Street Base Restoration from Bryant Street towards Coso Avenue
POSSIBLE VARIATIONS IN WATER PRESSURE AND QUALITY: During the construction phase of this work customer along Mirabel Avenue, Montezuma Street, Shotwell Street and Bessie Street may experience temporary variations in water quality and water pressure due to the current work to replace the water main in the area of the project.
