Hayes Valley Sewer Improvements Project
Overview
As part of the SFPUC's wastewater capital investments, the Hayes Valley Sewer Improvements Project will rehabilitate the existing 100+ year old sewer mains located under several streets located in Hayes Valley.

Week of March 24:
Oak Street (Gough to Franklin):
- Sewer main and laterals have been upgraded, scheduled manhole work pending.
Oak Street (Franklin to Van Ness):
- Sewer main and laterals have been upgraded, scheduled manhole work pending.
Franklin Street (Golden Gate to McAllister):
- Crews will be upgrading sewer lines in the area from March 17 to March 20.
Franklin Street (Oak to Page):
- Upgrading the sewer laterals in the area will occur March 24, 27 and 28th.
- Sewer main lining will occur continuously March 28 to March 30.
Sutter Street (Pierce to Scott):
- Sewer main and laterals have been upgraded, scheduled manhole work pending.
Page Street (Octavia to Franklin)
- Crews will be backfilling manholes in the area March 25 to March 26.
Hayes Street (Laguna to Octavia):
- Replacement of sewer laterals will occur March 31 to April 4.
Franklin Street (McAllister to Fulton):
- Crews will be installing manholes in the area March 24 to March 25, and 28th.
