Overview

The project is rehabilitating 10 water wells at 10 different sites in northern San Mateo County. Please see the map in Project Materials for a map of the locations. Marinship is the contractor in charge of rehabilitating the wells.

Project Background

Marinship pulled the pumps at 10 wells and sent them off site to be refurbished. That refurbishment has taken about 6-8 months for each pump. After the pumps were removed, each site was rehabilitated. Now that the pumps have been refurbished, they are being reinstalled at the 10 well sites.

Project Look Ahead

Through October 1 -- Marinship and the SFPUC Construction team have completed alignment, chlorination and performance testing work. The test results are being reviewed.
